Having two little girls pretty much assures me to watch Cinderella almost once a week for the rest of my life.
After initially fighting this I’ve finally made my peace with it.

Watching Cinderella tonight taught me a few things:
1. Things can be so different depending on your perspective.
While I’m not concerned in the slightest to see if Cinderella makes it to the ball on time my girls can barely contain themselves. The Bible says God’s way are higher than ours. We get so worked up over things in our lives. If we could ever step back and see them through the eyes of God we would understand that in the end, He’s going to make everything work out.

2. It’s okay to ask for help. Cinderella constantly had help from mice, a god-mother, and one giant pumpkin.
We can always use help. God never made a lone ranger. (even he had tonto)

3. Don’t stop believing. The moral of the story is good overcomes and love prevails.
Everyone has a God designed purpose within them. However through trouble and time dreams have a way of wilting. Sometimes all you can do is believe. That’s enough.
Don’t give up on your dream. Fight for it and realize if God has given it to you it’s not a matter of if. It’s a matter of when.
