Don’t understand estimate a recurring theme in your life. If you read something during your daily devotion time only to have it come up later in another completely unrelated place pay attention. Sometimes God speaks to us like that.

I love my two kids so much. I love their curiosity with life eagerness to experience new things. Sometimes though eagerness can cloud their ability to listen when daddy is talking. A lot of times I’ll have to repeat things several times before they finally turn their attention my way. It’s not that they do not love their daddy. They’re just distracted.

We get like that with God. We become so busy with everything around us. We love God but the kids, the job, the bills, guys night out, date night, etc. can be so distracting. God will place things in our life on order to get our attention.
