Real Life Church believes…

Real Life Church believes…

… God isn’t looking for the talented. He looks for the teachable.

…God isn’t interested in our gifts. He’s interested in our passion.

…God doesn’t forget His children. He knows right where you are.

…We were born for community. You need the family of God.

… Bad things happen, even in church. That’s why our faith is in God not in an organization.

… We don’t create a move of God. We find His move and jump on board.

…God isn’t waiting to move in the Earth. He’s already moving. Get in.

…The best is yet to come.

…You are not forgotten.

…You are worth something.

…You are important.

…You are special.

…It’s by divine appointment you are reading this now.

…Know this…. God is Real. God is near. God is waiting on you. He says you are beautiful, important, and worth dying for.

…Real Life Church exists to connect you to God. Right now. Then lead you toward becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Daniel Fast 2011: Day 20

God’s Love and the Ephesus warning.
Did you know history left unchecked will repeat itself? Ephesus got so wrapped up in cleaning out, cleaning up, dealing with trouble, etc…. that they forgot about loving God and loving each other. Always leave room for compassion and love. It’s easy to fit in. Love is like ketchup. If you pour on enough of it, you can eat just about anything.

Daniel Fast 2011: Day 19

God’s love is untouchable.

When we begin to realize the most important thing in our lives is our relationship with God, it’s easier to put things into perspective.  The sad reality is friends come and go, jobs can come and go, even family can come and go.  Not many things in life are certain.  The only thing constant is our relationship with Christ.  When you think on it in those terms it becomes easier to understand why Jesus would dare to say anyone who loves their family more than Him isn’t fit for the Kingdom. (Mark 8:26)  He’s not being insecure.

Daniel Fast 2011: Day 18

Storms are going to happen. The Bible says that it rains on the just and the unjust. No matter what season of life you are in, your destined for a little sprinkle every once and a while. That’s not being negative. That’s just plain reality. The real question is, “What are you going to do about it?”

Daniel Fast 2011: Day 15

I know we usually explore boundaries and them challenge ourselves to cross them on this blog but today I want to do something different. When a ship use to travel in uncharted territory, it was always important to frequently do a depth check. They needed to know where they were at. Today let’s do a depth check. Do you find yourself closer to God than you were yesterday? If so, how can you build on that to get even closer? If not not, what can you do to change it?
