Marathon Training: Week Two

Week Two in the bag.


This week was a welcome surprise. The weather became unseasonably warm so running outside was a pleasurable experience. Nothing really to say other than it was good. I did pick up an interesting tip though. Dogs can come out of nowhere. I’m sure most dog related injuries aren’t dogs biting people. It’s probably more of how they scare others and make them do things to themselves.

During a class one time I heard this statement and it’s sort of stuck.
Just a constant reminder that some things cannot be delegated or managed. Some things just have to be shouldered and pushed through. The ultimate responsibility lies with me, myself, and I.
You’re not a victim unless you want to be.

WORKOUT ONE- Foundational Run- 3 miles

WORKOUT TWO- Foundational Run- 3 miles

WORKOUT THREE- Foundational Run- 3 miles

X-Training- 30 minutes

Long Run: 6 miles

Total number of runs: 4
Total mileage: 15 mile
