My favorite episode this week: Acts 12.

πŸ“š Rhoda Makes Me Feel Better. 🀣

(Acts 12:12-14) Β When he realized this, he went to the home of Mary, the mother of John Mark, where many were gathered for prayer. He knocked at the door in the gate, and a servant girl named Rhoda came to open it. When she recognized Peter's voice, she was so overjoyed that, instead of opening the door, she ran back inside and told everyone, "Peter is standing at the door!"

Observation: Rhoda strikes me as the type of person who would call someone to ask if they know where her phone is. lol. She might also be the type of person who would walk around for 1o minutes with her keys in her hand while looking for her keys. Some would call this distracted. Others might call this absent-minded. I recognize this in Rhoda because they say, "it takes one to know one." I have done both of those things, so I get where Rhoda is coming from. God helped me feel better when I read about a lady who is earnestly praying for Peter. Then, she gets so excited that God has answered her prayers that she leaves him out in the cold so she can tell everyone what has happened. That's amazing. lol.

Application: Let the poor guy in. He's being hunted by Romans!

Let's read it together. >>> Listen to it here.

Why Must I Know Who I Am in Christ? We are only as bound as the lies we are willing to believe. We must know who we are in Christ because so many others will try to define us if we are not proactive. Let's talk about it.
