This is a weekly newsletter to share my favorite things from around the web, books, articles, and random observations.
Hello friends. Happy Friday.
Someone asked me recently, "Are Christians slowly becoming irrelevant?" After a few seconds of thought, I responded, "It depends on what you mean by Christian."
The time has come for Christians to rally around Christ. "Church" is not primarily for lost people. "Church" is for the "saints" to gather, be edified, be equipped, and be released to reach their world for Christ. Non-Christians are always welcome, but they are not the target audience. The target audience is Christ. We want the Holy Spirit to be most welcome.
I hope lost people will come to church and see the Body of Christ in action. Then, may we partner with the Holy Spirit as He draws lost people to experience the life of salvation as they see it in the lives of His Church.

The more we dig, the more we find. To get acquainted with the Book of Numbers read a quick Introduction to The Book of Numbers.
My favorite episode this week: Numbers 22. Talking Donkeys. I loved this episode. Even though the subject is critical and the Balaam is heading to partner with Israel's enemy, I cannot get over a donkey talking! What gets me the most is that Balaam talked back to the Donkey. Nope! I would have started running all the way home. Listen to it here.

๐ช From My Blog This Week>>>
What is Salvation? For some, we have been a part of a church community where foundation truths such as salvation are a part of life. It is such a standard part of your worldview that it takes time to develop a succinct definition. It's like asking someone to define truth or explain why you think the world is round. Hopefully, this link will help us start a conversation on having an easy-to-understand concept of what salvation is. This is important because we need to know it before we can share it. Let's talk about it.
Matthew 7:1-6 Imperfect People, Just Like Me. Last Sunday, we continued discussing Jesus teaching us how to live in the Kingdom of God. The text we covered is often called the most controversial in the New Testament. I agree, but I would likely choose a different part of the text than you might expect.
Here is a link to the commentary.
Let's grow together.
