Hello friends. Happy Saturday!
π§ My Favorite BibleBreakdown Episode This Week>>>
π Scripture. πͺ
(Jeremiah 18:1-4) The LORD gave another message to Jeremiah. He said, βGo down to the potterβs shop, and I will speak to you there.β So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over.
Observation: Have you ever watched a master potter mold clay? It is an art form. They take a lump of dirt and make things that will last many years. They slowly mold the clay into what only the potter can see. The potter knows a little nudge here and a slight angle there can either shape the clay or destroy the clay. Itβs all in subtle angles and patience. This sounds a lot like how God molds and shapes us. Most of the time, God is not fast. He does not move with sudden movements and Earth-shattering changes. He moves in slow faithfulness that molds and makes us into what He wants us to be.
Application: Look back over your life. What are some of the subtle movements that God used to slowly change your life?
Prayer: Thank You for working on us.
