📚 Scripture. 💪
(Isaiah 33:2-3) “But Lord, be merciful to us, for we have waited for you. Be our strong arm each day and our salvation in times of trouble. The enemy runs at the sound of your voice. When you stand up, the nations flee!”
Observation: In this prayer, Isaiah acknowledges the need for God’s grace. We often feel overwhelmed, and all we can do is cry out to God for help. Isaiah’s words remind us that God is gracious, and He longs to be our strength. As we trust Him, we’ll see His power in ways that leave us in awe. When life feels too much, don’t hesitate to call on God. His grace is always enough.
Application: When you feel overwhelmed today, pause and pray for God’s grace and strength to meet your needs.
Prayer: Lord, I ask Your grace to cover me when I feel overwhelmed. Be my strength and help me to trust in Your power to carry me through.

✍️ Quote of the Week That Makes You Think
There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilizations - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub and exploit - immortal horrors or everlasting splendors. This does not mean that we are to be perpetually solemn. We must play. But our merriment must be of that kind (and it is, in fact, the merriest kind) which exists between people who have, from the outset, taken each other seriously - no flippancy, no superiority, no presumption.
