Introduction

Merry Christmas! As we celebrate this season together, I pray that your heart is filled with the joy and peace of Christ. Christmas is more than just a day on the calendar; it’s a reminder of God’s incredible love for us.

The prophet Isaiah foretold the birth of our Savior with these words:

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

This promise was fulfilled in Jesus, the true Light of the World who stepped into our darkness to bring salvation.

In Luke 2, the angels announced to the shepherds:

“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:10-11).

This message of hope is still true today. Christ came to bring us eternal life, and through Him, we have peace with God (Romans 5:1).

As you gather with family and friends, take time to reflect on the greatest gift ever given: God’s Son.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

What an amazing truth to celebrate!

May your Christmas be filled with the wonder of the shepherds, the worship of the wise men, and the peace that only Jesus can bring. Let’s carry the hope of Christ into the new year, shining His light in a world that so desperately needs Him.

Merry Christmas, and may God bless you richly!
