📚 Scripture. 💪
(Ecclesiastes 5:19-20) “And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past.”
Observation: There is nothing wrong with wanting to make the most of your life. There is something wrong with being unhappy with where we are right now. The one thing constant about this life is that nothing stays the same. Life is always changing. Therefore, we can enjoy the moment because it will not last. God’s Word says that those who see their “lot in life” as something to be enjoyed are truly a gift from God. Once again, it’s okay to want more and to work hard. The challenge is to do this while not despising the current season you are in. Wow. That is harder than it seems.
Application: Look around and find something to celebrate about this current season.
Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for being with us through every season of life.
