📚 Scripture. 💪

(Jeremiah 9:23-24) This is what the Lord says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the Lord, have spoken!

Observation: It’s okay to be proud of things in our lives. I’ve heard people talk about pride as a bad thing. The Bible warns us to be careful with pride. The trick is to be careful what we are proud of and why we are pleased. It is not okay to be proud in such a way that it makes us think less of others. Being proud is also not OK because we believe we are further ahead of others. The right thing to be proud of is to be proud of what God is doing in our lives and how we are able to serve others. It is also okay to be proud of God’s faithfulness. “Good pride” should always help us think more of Jesus and more of what He is doing on Earth. This is the kind of pride today’s passage is talking about.

Application: The thankful for what God is doing in your life.

Prayer: Thank You for how far you have taken us and how many more adventures are ahead.
