Introduction

Sunday dawns with a miracle that changed everything. The tomb is empty. The stone is rolled away. Jesus has risen from the dead, just as He said. Death is defeated, sin has been conquered, and hope is alive. The resurrection is not just a historical event—it’s a present reality. Because He lives, we can face today, tomorrow, and eternity with confidence. Resurrection Sunday is the heartbeat of our faith.

Where Was Jesus & What Was He Doing?

Early that morning, a few women went to Jesus’ tomb and found it empty (Luke 24:1–3). Angels announced that He had risen. Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, then to the other women, and later to two disciples on the road to Emmaus. That evening, He appeared to His disciples, alive and glorified. Jesus wasn’t just alive—He was beginning a new creation, and His followers were witnesses.
