📚 Scripture. 💪

(James 1:2-4) “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”

Observation: This verse seems counterintuitive—how can we find joy in trials? But James reminds us that trials have a purpose. They’re not random; they develop perseverance, which makes us mature and complete. Our faith isn’t truly tested when life is easy. It’s in the hard times that our trust in God deepens. Joy doesn’t come from the trial itself but from knowing God is working in us through it. So, when difficulties come, don’t see them as setbacks. See them as opportunities for growth and a deeper reliance on God.

Application: Reflect on a current trial and ask God to show you how it can help you grow.

Prayer: Lord, help me see my trials as opportunities for growth and trust that You are working in me through them. Give me the strength to endure and the wisdom to learn from these challenges.
