📚 Scripture. 💪
(Esther 4:14) If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”
Observation: The book of Esther is all about a mess. Esther should never have been in the King’s palace. Israel should never have been in exile. Haaman should never have placed a death date on the nation of Israel. However, all these things have happened. The text says that God had placed Esther at the right moment to make a difference. This is comforting because, even in the mess, God is still moving and working. This helps me remember that God is never surprised by my circumstances. He is always working things out and has a purpose for me. There have been times when I have wondered why I was in a situation or how I could possibly measure up to a task. Then, I remember that if I am here, it’s because God willed it to be so. If He has guided me to this place, He will also provide everything I need to do His will. This is the same for you, too.
Application: Have courage and move forward.
Prayer: Thank You for preparing us for more than we realize at the time.
