🎧 My Favorite BibleBreakdown Episode This Week>>>

My favorite episode this week: 2 Samuel 15.

πŸ“š Trust the Lord, No Matter What. πŸ’ͺ

(2 Samuel‬ ‭15‬:‭25‬-‭26) Then the king instructed Zadok to take the Ark of God back into the city. β€œIf the Lord sees fit,” David said, β€œhe will bring me back to see the Ark and the Tabernacle again. But if he is through with me, then let him do what seems best to him.”

Observation: David is at the lowest point of his life. Still, he trusts the Lord. In moments like this, it can be easy to wonder why God would bring us to this place or why this is happening. However, God had prepared David for this moment. He had watched God deliver him over and over. David has learned to trust the Lord in the sunshine and the rain. So, when the worst day of his life is upon him, David trusts the Lord no matter the outcome. This shows excellent faith and the level of trust God had earned in his life.

Application: Trust the Lord to do the right thing.

Prayer: Thank You, God, for being trustworthy.

The Bible is not an end in itself, but a means to bring men to an intimate and satisfying knowledge of God, that they may enter into Him, that they may delight in His Presence, may taste and know the inner sweetness of the very God Himself in the core and center of their hearts. β€” A.
