Reading God’s Word together this past week has been such a rewarding experience! It’s amazing how Scripture speaks uniquely to each of us, yet still unites us as one body in Christ. I’m excited to see how God continues to reveal His truth as we move forward.

📚 Scripture. 💪
(Jeremiah 43:7) "So they entered Egypt in disobedience to the Lord and went as far as Tahpanhes."
Observation: After Jerusalem’s fall, the remaining people seek Jeremiah’s counsel, promising to obey God’s direction. However, when Jeremiah tells them to stay in Judah, they refuse and flee to Egypt, directly disobeying God’s command. Their fear of Babylon overshadows their faith in God’s protection. This chapter shows the danger of following fear instead of trusting God. Disobedience leads to consequences, while faith leads to blessing.
Application: I must guard against allowing fear to override my trust in God. Even when His instructions seem difficult or risky, I can trust that His ways are best. Obedience requires faith that God knows what’s best for me, even when I can’t see the outcome. Today, I will choose faith over fear and trust that obedience will lead to God’s blessing.
Prayer: Lord, forgive me for the times I’ve let fear control my decisions. Help me to trust Your guidance, even when it’s challenging. Give me the courage to obey, knowing that Your plans are for my good. Strengthen my faith and help me walk in Your will. Amen.
