“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!”Habakkuk 3:17-18 NLT
Where do you place your joy? In someone? In a relatoinship? In an accomplishment? In a job? Where do you place your joy? If you place your joy in circumstances, you will ultimately be disappointed. Circumstances change, people come and go… nothing stays the same. However, God is eternal. God never changes. God’s faithfulness is the same forever.
- I will rest in the unchanging consisentcy of God’s faithfulness.
- I will fix my foundation on something that does not move.
- I will rejoice in who God is instead of lamenting my circumstances.
“God, today is Your day and you let me wake up and be part of it. Thanky you.”
