Hello friends. Happy Saturday!

📚 Scripture. 💪

(Ecclesiastes 1:11) “We don’t remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now.”

Observation: At first, this passage sounds depressing. Our culture has been engineered to think we are all in a blockbuster movie. We are the main characters; if we don’t save the world, we fail. That is too much pressure. No wonder many of us deal with severe anxiety and depression. We live with constant pressure and have a Savior Complex. We don’t remember 99% of the people who came before us. Most of us cannot name our great-grandparents. This is not a problem. It is just the way of the world. Rather than feeling the pressure, we should realize our job is to make a difference in the areas God has placed us in. Then, leave the world changing to Him.

Application: Take a deep breath. You don’t have to change the world. Just be faithful and allow God to change the world. Our job is to make a difference in the lives of those beside us.

Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for letting us be PART of YOUR plan.
